5 Awesome beauty/personal care products under INR200(5$)

            1.    Lotus Herbals Lip therapy

INR 95

Claims:
Rehydrates- Imparts lips active moisturising benefits of Shea and Kokum natural butters.
Heals- It heals dry chapped and cracked lips.
Protects- Protects lips from sun’s UVA and UVB rays.

Okay this comes under 100 bucks category, but you get the point, right?
It is available in Chocolate, Velvetty Rose, Fresh Mint, Vanilla and Cocoa. I have this in Vanilla and though I don’t feel anything especially Vanillaish about it, it is a very good chapstick.
It has got SPF 15 too. It is perfect to wear under lipstick or glosses.  I think this is going to last really long, I have already have had it for three months.

       2.    Lotus Herbals WHITEGLOW Oatmeal & Yogurt Skin Whitening Scrub
INR145 (100gms)
Claims:Lotus WhiteGlow Oatmeal & Yogurt Skin Whitening Scrub exfoliates the skin gently, removes dirt, impurities, blackheads and whiteheads leaving your skin brighter and healthier with a shining glow. The gentle exfoliating action works on skin discoloration, dull and uneven skin tones and softens the skin giving you a firmer texture. Oatmeal exfoliates gently, restores the natural moisture balance of the skin and yogurt moisturizes and lightens the skin reducing imperfections giving you silky, smooth and brighter skin.
It claims that it is for all skin type.
This is a great scrub. Whenever I use it I actually feel that my skin has brightened a bit. It doesn’t prevent/extracts blackheads and whiteheads but exfoliates well. One more thing, it smells great!

3.Maybelline expert wear blush
INR 209(please don’t hate me because it is notexactly under 200 bucks :/ )
Claims: oil free, wont clog pores, dermatologist tested.

I like, I like. I have this in berry sorbet, and I love this colour.!!
Here is a closer view.

I think it would go with all skin tones.  Also it has just the perfect amount of shine in it, which works as highlighter.

       4.    Garnier Light eye roll on

INR 199(there! That’s exactly under 200 bucks)
Claims:
Contains caffeine(of synthetic origin) which is known for its stimulating properties on micro circulation.
Contains pro vitamin B5 for its hydrating properties.

Garnier roll on is for dark circles and puffiness. Now it has not done wonders for my eye area or anything, but as I have heard eye area is very hard to deal with. It contains caffeine which is also the main ingredient in MAC’s fast response eye cream, and many other eye creams. You need more reason to buy this, well it was also voted as the product of the year 2010.

Garnier has just launched the new tinted versions of its eye roll on.

       5.   Maybelline Colossal Kajal

INR 150
Claims- 6 hours of black, bold, smudge resistant stay.
The ultimate in care with a combination of 5 caring ingredients. Formula enriched with vitamin E soothes the eyes.

It’s a great kajal and is really economic too. It does not exactly stay for 6 hours or anything but it does not smudge. It just, ummm….. disappears from my eyes.  Re application after some time is necessary but it does not smudge.

  15. I've used 1 and 5. Was ok with the chapstick, but moved on to something else after a while.

I absolutely loved the Colossal Kajal! I usually don't repeat my kajal, because I like to try out different ones, but I'm definitely buying this one again. Like you said, it doesn't smudge, it just disappears. So I'm spared from looking like a raccoon after a couple of hours. :p
