by TRESemmé
FIFA
2014 is here! In just two days from now, world’s best football players will
begin the battle for the sport's ultimate prize - the WORLD CUP TROPHY.
While
the most talented football stars will be seen battling for the top spot, off
the field, their glamorous better halves - wives and girlfriends - are expected
to start a glamour riot of their own.
Expect
them to flaunt the latest global trends from head to toe!
Marcus
Francis, official stylist TRESemmé, spots
the famous WAG’s unique styles and shows you how to kick off the soccer season
on a glamorous note!
Shakira's Side Swept Wavy Hairdo
If you love to experiment with different kinds of waves, Marcus shows you how to flaunt the perfect side swept waves.
- Wash and condition your hair thoroughly with TRESemmé Split Remedy shampoo and conditioner
- Blow dry hair with a large barrel brush to give movement to your hair
- Use small or medium tongs depending on the size of the curls desired. Work with four sections each side, depending on hair length and alternating by curling one section clockwise and the next anti-clockwise
- For the side sweep: use a paddle brush and firmly brush from the crown up and over left to right, avoiding the waves from the ear down by bringing them around the nape and over gently by hand

DIY Glamorous High Updo with TRESemmé
![]() |
| Audrey With Celebrity Makeup And Hair Stylist Daniel Bauer |
Till now I have mostly steered away from updos. Not because I don’t fancy them, but only because I don’t trust my lousy hair styling skills. Here is a sleek, glamorous and easy enough updo that TRESemmé created on my model Audrey for #BeautyNBlogger, which seems simple enough to try by myself.

TIGI's Global Expert Aislinn Trodden Talks About Her Favourite Hair Products

I recently had a chance to meet Aislinn
Trodden, the Award Winning Stylist who has been a part of TIGI for 14 years. First of all, you don’t get to meet people as warm, witty and fabulous as Aislinn every day. She
gave me the most wonderful haircut, while telling me fascinating stories about her
country Ireland and her stay in India. Of course I had to ask her some professional styling secrets so that I could share them with you guys. I asked her what her favourite products
were, and although it was difficult to choose her most loved products out of the
huge TIGI arsenal, she finally settled on the following:

My Top Five High Street Hair Products
by Mel Davies
I’ve been growing my hair for a good few
years now, and it’s important to me that it’s kept in good condition – there’s
no point growing my hair if the ends are so brittle that they end up snapping
anyway! Although there are a couple of more expensive hair care brands I love
(Bumble and Bumble I’m looking at you!), many of the products I use on a
day-to-day basis can be found for low prices on the high street. These are the products I use almost daily to
tame my mane.

Add a little funk to your look- Lakme Colored Hair Extensions and Nail Art
I have had my share of adventures with hair color, (red, burgundy, light brown, chocolate brown, blue, I am not even kidding) so much so that I don’t have interest in colouring my hair anymore. I have fine hair which is very prone to damage and whenever and however I have colored it, it has resulted in my hair becoming lifeless. This monsoon Lakmé Salon has introduced two new services ‘Funky hair extensions’ and ‘Nail art’ to its existing menu. I was totally up for the idea of adding color to my hair without any potential damage.
These funky hair extensions made of real hair, are available at Lakmé Salons in
three different colours- red, blue
and purple and can be tonged, ironed or just left as it blends perfectly
with the natural hair. I got a red extension, and it took like a minute to get
it fixed with some strands of my hair. These extensions are plied to your hair
and the process doesn’t take much time at all.
