A few days back, L'Oreal had come out with their "Go Back In Time" video, and now they have just launched a song, ‘Jad Se Judein’ sung by Mohit Chauhan for the L'Oreal Paris Fall Repair 3X 'Stay Rooted' campaign.

Now I LOVE Mohit Chauhan's chocolaty voice (who doesn't?) and the video is really, really sweet. I am not going to lie but I was all choked by the grandmother story (I 'm kind of a crier.) Also, I am not sure if my school teachers would be that happy to see me.. hehe.. Anyway, if you haven't already, do check out the touching song.

I will start by saying that what does not work for me, might work for you and vice-versa, okayee..

I mostly review products that I like or love. This is a short post on products from hell!! These are the high end products that thoroughly disappointed me. I mean if the products are reasonably priced I usually don’t banter that much, but spending 500+ and getting no result really gets me angry.

“Sally Hanson- Thicken up” did nothing for my nails. I was surprised as usually girls love anything  Sally Hanson. In fact it made my nail yellowish. :/

Don’t even get me started on “L’Oreal-Pure Zone Deep control Anti imperfection moisturiser.” It is supposed to control sebum and imperfections. Nada.  Did nothing for pimples and blemishes, and even made my face shiny.

I know “L’Oreal Liss Ultime Shampoo” is a shampoo that girls regard highly, but it caused me major hair fall. I liked the way it made my hair feel, and not even for a second did I suspect that this shampoo might be the cause of my sudden increase in hairfall. Well I found out in time.

L’Oreal Resist and Shine Titanium Nail Polish - Review

Price: INR 400 (OMG!)

The shades they have shown on the site are delicious. But of course, in India they decided to launch only a limited range of shades. The colour range they have in India is pretty much crappy. I bought this classic deep red kind of shade. Okay so here’s the thing, if I found a nail polish that would stay for up to seven days I would be ready to pay more than 400 bucks. But this did not live up to its claim.  I wanted this nail paint to work so bad!!

Pros:

They have mentioned that the formula is formaldehyde-free and toluene-free. That seems good.

This shade I bought was nice.

Cons:

Chipped around the edges by the end of the day. I did normal house work while wearing the nail paint, but come on, I expected it to stay at least till the next day.

Well for a nail paint that chipped like any other nail paint, it is very pricey.

L’Oreal- Absolut repair hair masque (review)

Claims: Repairs and nourishes the devitalized hair fiber. Hair is left revitalized, soft and shiny.

L’Oreal absolute repair hair masque comes in tub like most hair masques. The consistency of the masque is really thick. It has neofibrine  which is a patented invention of loreal. Neofibrine has been described as a unique combination of Bio-Mimetic Ceramide , natural wax, shine perfecting agent and a UV filter for hair. My hair gets damaged by heat styling pretty fast, so I bought this hair masque as it is for very damaged hair. This product is also advised for chemically treated hair.  This product is from the serie expert range, which as we all know is a bit pricy. Thus I always do my research work pretty well before buying something from this range, but I was absolutely glad to have bought this product. It has to be massaged into shampooed and towel dried hair. Leave it for two to three minutes, and rinse thoroughly. You can try leaving it for ten minutes and giving your self a hot towel treatment. I use it every alternative time I shampoo my hair.

Pros: Hair instantly feels softer, looks shinier and healthier.

               It smells great too!!

              It is mentioned on the tub that it has a UV filter for hair . That is a definite plus point.

              The tub lasts for around 4 to 5 months.

 (I shampoo my hair every second day and apply the hair masque every alternative time I shampoo that means once in every four to five days. And I am not kidding the last tub I had lasted me for six months. Then if you think about it the price does not seem that much.)

Cons:  weighs down hair.

          I have got fine hair, still it doesn’t bother me that much. But my friends have                

          complained that it  does make hair a bit heavy.

My friends whose hair has been fried by straightening and rebounding have been suggested to use this product by hair stylists. I do believe it makes the hair stronger. All in all this is a great hair treatment for damaged hair.
