So, how would you manage looking fabulous when you are starving and dehydrated? Well, start taking care of yourself days before Karva Chauth. Alternatively, on this Karva Chauth you can get a glowing skin by using some home-made face packs; try these natural skincare treatments for a natural, healthy glow:
a) Mix oats and milk or curd (dahi) into a paste. Apply this paste on your face and neck. Leave on for 10 minutes, then wash and pat your skin dry.
b) Mix almond powder with milk, honey and glycerin. Apply this mixture on your face, leave for 10 minutes; thereafter, wash face with water and pat dry. Almond and honey are excellent moisturizers.
c) Mix some mashed strawberries with orange juice and apply on the face. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then wash with water and pat dry. Oranges are mild bleaching agents and will help with skin pigmentation problems and strawberries help control oiliness.
d) A tip for softer body skin: add a bit of sugar (which is an excellent scrub material) to your bathing soap and rub it all over your body. Sugar massage will improve blood circulation and it helps in removing the dead cells. You can add ground coffee to have even better results.
