My Top Five High Street Hair Products
by Mel Davies
I’ve been growing my hair for a good few
years now, and it’s important to me that it’s kept in good condition – there’s
no point growing my hair if the ends are so brittle that they end up snapping
anyway! Although there are a couple of more expensive hair care brands I love
(Bumble and Bumble I’m looking at you!), many of the products I use on a
day-to-day basis can be found for low prices on the high street. These are the products I use almost daily to
tame my mane.

Maybelline Color Whispers: 430 Coral Ambition -Review and Swatches
Guest Post by Nika M
Hello beauties.
Hello beauties.
Today I have another review for you. We are
going to talk about Maybelline Color Whispers. The other day I was in my local
drugstore and I saw them. They were so cute and I absolutely love the
packaging, so I just had to had them. First I ran towards the pink shades and
swatched them, but then I decided to pick up the shade 430 Coral Ambition,
since I own a LOT of pink shades of lipsticks (my popyticks are also pink :)).

Hello lovely people, this is Stephanie Timmins from Fashion & Lifestyle Blog : Feisty Fox Diaries and I am very delighted to be writing a guest post for Gingersnaps.
Today's Outfit Post is a blend of two super chic Summer 2013 trends : Aztec Prints and Stripes. I wore this very interesting Monochrome Aztec Print Peplum Top with a Peach Horizontal Stripe Skirt. I accessorised the Ensemble with a Peach Belt (matching the skirt), a Turquoise and Silver Statement Neckpiece with super trendy dangling Spikes, some black and white hand beads, a Neutral Snakeskin Texture Handbag in beige, brown and white and White Ankle Strap Peep Toes.

The transition of the Saree in Bollywood
Guest Post by Anila
Indian women have
always loved the saree and worn it with much pride and adoration. Bollywood is
no less when it comes to flaunting the seven yard sartorial wonder which
remains to be the pride of our nation. Ever since the first bollywood movie was
made, women were shown wearing sarees .
Since then, the saree has travelled a long way and undergone many changes in
the way it was draped and the way the blouses were designed. Let us travel down
the memory lane and glimpse at the changes that the saree has seen since the beginning
of bollywood.

Skin and Hair Care Tips for Holi- Guest Post
by Oriflame India's Beauty Expert, Ms. Aakriti Kochar.
Holi is not the best time for one’s skin and hair. The dry "gulal" and colours are generally not derived from natural sources. They contain chemicals, shiny particles of mica and even lead, which not only irritate the skin, but collect on the scalp.

Follow these steps to ensure that you have a safe, fun and memorable Holi:
- Apply a sunscreen and rich moisturiser like at least 20 minutes before going out to play with colours. Use a sunscreen of SPF 15 and above, such as Oriflame Sun Care Cream SPF 20. If your skin is prone to pigmented patches, select one with a higher SPF
- Generously apply copious amounts of olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil or mustard oil on your face and body.

OOTD - Pastel pink skirt (Guest Post)
Sometimes when the day doesn't make any sense or there is this overload
of work, I just chuck all of that out the window and put on my
favorite outfits and get a start on with a smile! And this was
probably one of those days where I just felt like dressing up for no
reason at all and why should I anyway need a reason to feel good?
