How To Colour Your Hair At Home | L'Oreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss

If you are hesitant to colour your hair at home, you have come to the right place. You see, I have a lot of experience coloring my hair at home. Much to my parents’ dismay and teachers’ horror, the first time I colored my hair was in high school with a brilliant red hue. It was not a common sight to see people sporting colored hair at the time and I used to love it when other girls used to ask me tips on how to color their hair.

My recent hair colour choice has been a much more subtle red, L’Oreal Paris Casting Crème Gloss’s #360 Black Cherry.  Read on to know how you can colour your hair at the comfort of your own home.

Keep in mind

  • To perform the skin allergy test 48 hours before using the hair colour. This test should be carried out before each and every application.

  • It would be best to wear an old clothing item while coloring your hair.

  • Apply some cold cream or petroleum jelly near your hairline and neck to avoid getting colour on your skin.

  • It is best to use hair colour on unwashed hair.

The L’Oreal Paris Casting Crème Gloss pack consists of
1 tube of no-ammonia Crème Colourant
1 bottle of Developer Cream
1 bottle of Nutri-Shine Conditioner
1 pair of Gloves

Squeeze the tube of Crème Colourant into the applicator bottle containing the developer. Close the developer bottle and shake it vigorously to obtain a completely even mixture. Immediately after mixing, break off the tip of the applicator cap.

Start by detangling your hair thoroughly and wet it without washing it. Towel dry if necessary. Part your hair in sections and apply the mixture using the tip of the applicator. Spread the mixture through the lengths and ends of the hair. Leave for 20 to 30 minutes, and then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Apply a generous amount of the Nutri-shine conditioner and leave it to work for 2-5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly  and you are done! The L’Oreal Paris Casting Crème Gloss colour lasts up to 28 washes. Go ahead and choose from 12 delicious shades to give yourself a fashionable makeover from hair to toe.

Black Cherry has given my hair a beautiful and subtle red undertone. And in the sun, the colour looks oh so gorgeous! Visit www.nocolournofashion.com to have a look at my hair color, and all the other delicious shades that my fellow bloggers have opted for.

  1. The shade you describe sounds wonderful. I like how the highlights come out in sunlight.
