TIGI's Global Expert Aislinn Trodden Talks About Her Favourite Hair Products

I recently had a chance to meet Aislinn Trodden, the Award Winning Stylist who has been a part of TIGI for 14 years. First of all, you don’t get to meet people as warm, witty and fabulous as Aislinn every day. She gave me the most wonderful haircut, while telling me fascinating stories about her country Ireland and her stay in India. Of course I had to ask her some professional styling secrets so that I could share them with you guys. I asked her what her favourite products were, and although it was difficult to choose her most loved products out of the huge TIGI arsenal, she finally settled on the following:

"I recommend the TIGI Bed Head Re-Energize Urban Antidotes Shampoo & Conditioner for fine hair type. It is really mild on hair and you can use it every single day.

To give your hair that extra volume I suggest the Bed Head Candy Fixations Sugar Dust. This is one of our hero products and helps in getting that extra day of your shampooed hair. Along with giving you extra volume at the roots, this can also be used all over your curls and edges to give a messed up look and longevity to your hairstyle.

If you have slightly thicker hair, and you want to get a nice sleek blow-dry, whether your hair is curly or straight, use Glaze Haze from the Candy Fixations Range. This will help to cut your blow-dry time down by 50%. All the Candy Fixation range is to do with Sugar Technology, so it is about the ability to stretch and coat the hair and contract split-ends.

Another hero product is the TIGI Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo, and everybody needs this in their home. This will help you get more longevity out of your washed hair. Especially if your hair is on the finer side like mine, we don’t want to use too much of a heavy product like waxes and gels. This is perfect for styling fine hair."

At present, TIGI has a vast range of serums, gels, waxes, shampoos and conditioners for the Indian market under the brands Bed Head & S Factor which can be bought off the shelves at select salons across India.
