With summer right around the corner, your hair is one the first things under attack. Dry, brittle, fried damaged hair, with humidity levels going crazy this monsoon season, the last thing you can expect is your hair behaving when you are expected to leave your house. Sound familiar?

That time of the year is back once again, and I for one have started preparing for the worst.
I’ve always preferred Garnier Fructis hair styling products over other drugstore products, and this is definitely amongst the best of them.
Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum is my savior when humidity is 100% in my area. With so much moisture in the air and scorching sun, the result ain’t pretty.
I smooth this on my half-dried hair, or after blow-drying, and the result is very healthy looking, sleek and shiny TAMED hair. It really does give me the ultimate silky, manageable hair. This also contains Moraccan Argan Oil and Apricot Oils, which is definitely a bonus. This smells like green apple, like all Garnier products.
Pros:
- Easily available
- Inexpensive
- Tames hair in 97% humidity (works in 100% for me)
- Very light formula, does not weigh hair down or make it flat or sticky
- Makes hair very sleek, shiny, and manageable
- Contains Moroccan Argan oil and apricot oil, which I love
Cons:
- Because of the watery consistency, you may need more amount of the product to get it to work for you, depending on how much frizz you have
- Finishes quickly, but have to repurchase often
Rating: 4.5/5
Bottom line:
I absolutely love love love this product! I love the way it makes my hair look so sleek and healthy after applying it. It really does make a huge difference, and I will keep repurchasing it.
