I have used the earlier version of Pond’s White Beauty Cream and had liked it a lot then. What I used to do, was buy it’s little sachets which used to cost only 12 bucks!! The new version of the cream provides superior sun protection and contains the new patented GenActiv™ Formula.

So what is GenWhite™ Formula? According to the company, GenWhite adapts to the unique needs of your skin, works with your skin’s natural processes; it is your skin that ultimately helps itself become more radiant, even toned and spot-less*. Vitamin B3,12-HSA,Vitamin E,Allantoin,Optics,SPF. The Pond’s white beauty™ Day Cream has been shown to work on solar lentigines (also called age spots, liver spots), melasma, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Pro’s

SPF20: What would a day cream be without SPF? Also,I am allergic to products with high SPF so I am glad that it comes in SPF20.
PA++ : SPF only protects against UVB rays, while PA protects against UVA rays.

It makes my skin nice and matte. Does not help control oil for long durations, but is good enough to use under make up.

I do not have discoloration or dark spots so I really can’t measure it’s performance in that department. Still a cream that moisturizes, provides sun protection and targets dark spots seems like a good cream to me.

Con’s

You have to blend this cream properly. If you still feel it is not blended properly you can use a few drops of rose water, or simply water for that matter, in the area you think it has not blended properly.

I have oily skin and it works great for me, but it may not be hydrating enough for people with dry skin.

My Rating; 4.5/5  for being an excellent light day cream with sun protection, and targeting dark spots problem. I am quite pleased with this cream.

Paisa Vasool: Oh yes. I recommend everybody to at least get it’s little sachets for 10 bucks and try it for themselves. Also at INR10 for 9gms, it’s trial pack turns out to be super economic!

      Thank for your feedback Pooja.
It would definitely help other girls choose the product wisely.:)
Also a suggestion for people with dry skin, you can try moisturizing your skin with a little amount of your regular moisturizer and then use this on top of it.
